CONTRACTOR WINS RIGHT TO HAVE CASE RE-HEARD ON MERITS

The District Court for the Northern District of Illinois dismissed a contractor's claim against the buyer, partially for lack of jurisdiction and partially on the merits. The Seventh Circuit kindly informed the District Court that it was wrong for combining the two dismissals and sent the case back to the District Court for a new decision on the merits.
