Construction Law has been the central focus throughout Bob’s professional career, and he has acquired a solid reputation as a leader in the field, representing a broad and diverse spectrum of clients, including owners, developers, contractors, material and equipment vendors, governmental bodies, and design professionals.

Bob maintains close affiliations with a wide range of professional and industry-related organizations. Professional memberships include the American Bar Association (Public Contract Law Section; Forum Committee on the Construction Industry), Indiana State Bar Association (Construction Law Section) and the Indianapolis Bar Association.

Bob’s involvement with special interest associations reflects the broad range of his practice, including such organizations as the Associated General Contractors of Indiana, Indiana Constructors, Indiana Subcontractors Association, Indiana Ready Mix Concrete Association, Indiana Association of Cities and Towns (Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association), Association of Indiana Counties, Association of American Counsel of Engineering Companies (ACEC), and the American Institute of Architects – Indianapolis. He has also gained a depth of experience as an arbitrator and mediator for construction-related disputes.

Bob is a prolific author and speaker on virtually every aspect of construction and design law - from every conceivable perspective. As a writer, he has authored books, chapters, seminar manuals, practice guides and numerous trade journal articles. His practical and informal style has also made Bob a popular speaker for seminars, conventions, meetings and group training programs.
