MORTENSON LOSES CONTRACT INTERPRETATION RULING
US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit
After installation of manual balancing dampers on an Army contract,
Mortenson sought confirmation from the government that the job was done correctly. Subsequently, additional dampers were required to be installed and Mortenson was unsuccessful in convincing the appeals court that its interpretation of damper locations was reasonable.
