HOMEOWNERS WIN COUNTERCLAIMS AGAINST CONTRACTOR FOR FAILURE TO PERFORM IN WORKMANLIKE MANNER

In the Court of Appeals of Ohio (Twelfth Appellate District, Warren County)

After performing concrete work that homeowners refused to pay for, the contractor sued. The homeowners counterclaimed, arguing that the contractor did not perform in a workmanlike manner, as required by the contract. The trial court agreed, and awarded the homeowners damages. The contractor unsuccesfully appealled to the Court of Appeals.
