PAPERWORK ERROR WONT KEEP COURT FROM DECIDING UNIONS ALLEGATIONS THAT CONTRACTOR IS VIOLATING PREVAILING WAGE LAW
In the Court of Appeals of Ohio (Sixth Appellate District, Wood County)
A trade union filed a complaint in civil court for improper wage and benefit payments. The contractor filed a motion for summary judgment, arguing that the union did not properly complete the administrative paperwork and the court did not have jurisdiction to hear case. An appeals court reversed the trial court's findings for the contractor and remanded for proper calculation of the unpaid amounts.
