VIRGINIA HIGH COURT ENFORCES INDEMNIFICATION CLAUSE

A state high court rules that a contractor cannot pursue a claim against a project owner for indemnification because of the contractor’s own negligence in a personal injury suit. Doing so would violate the state’s public policy.
