GALLOWAY RELEASES NEW BOOK FOR CIVIL ENGINEERS
ASCE Press has just announced the release of Patricia D. Galloway's book, The 21st Century Engineer. In it, she discusses the skill set of todays engineer and also presents non-technical areas in which civil engineers must become proficient to survive and succeed in a global landscape.
Galloway is the CEO of The Nielsen-Wurster Group, an international management-consulting firm with offices through the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific. She is the first woman to have served as president of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). She is also one of the panelists for the upcoming audio conference sponsored by Construction Claims Advisor, which will be broadcast Nov. 12.
