SUB LOST RIGHT TO CHALLENGE DEDUCTIVE CHANGE ORDER CREDIT

An overly optimistic estimate on cost savings for materials is passed on to the owner via a deductive change order. When the figures come in lower than originally thought, the subcontractor loses out for failure to send prompt notification.
