FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Construction Claims Advisor Recognized by Construction Writers Association E-newsletter wins coveted T. Randolph Russell Award for Newsletter Excellence
The weekly electronic newsletter Construction Claims Advisor recently received the T. Randolph Russell Award for Newsletter Excellence from the Construction Writers Association (CWA). Publisher Paul Levin accepted the award at a ceremony during the associations annual meeting in Washington, D.C. on
April 29, 2004.
Published as a companion newsletter to Construction Claims Online
(www.constructionclaims.com), Construction Claims Advisor provides a weekly resource for contractors, owners and facility managers. Each week, subscribers receive recent court decisions and summaries; perspectives on hot topics from leading attorneys and consultants; tips and techniques on claims preparation and analysis; digests of articles from other construction law publications; and technology developments that can improve contract administration procedures.
In presenting the award, judges commented that the newsletter is very detailed, offering a strong debut with a well-conceived online component. Levin, who launched the effort in November 2003, is the former publisher of Construction Claims Monthly and has more than 20 years of experience as a construction engineer and consultant.
We are honored to receive this award from CWA, Levin said. Construction claims cost the industry $2 billion in legal and consulting fees annually, and that number is growing. By presenting our readers with pertinent news and resources, we hope to put them in control of the claims process and reduce the toll claims take on our industry.
Subscriptions to Construction Claims Advisor are available for less than $25 per month. Subscribers receive a free copy of Levins book, Construction Contract Claims, Changes and Dispute Resolution, and unlimited access to online tutorials and newsletter archives.
